In Memoriam - Ron Leach
March 2023
Film Access Northumberland is sad to announce the passing of teacher, director, writer, casting director, volunteer, board member and friend, Ron Leach.
Ron came to the Eye2Eye Film Festival in 2022 and provided a fantastic Masterclass to our audience. He was delighted with Festival and believed wholeheartedly in the mission of FAN. Ron accepted a position on the Film Access Northumberland board in February, just a few short weeks before he passed suddenly after a brief illness.
Ron is remembered for his passion and generous nature and will be missed by all who knew him.
And all I’ve done for want of wit,
To memory now I can’t recall,
So fill to me the parting glass,
Goodnight and joy be with you all.
